One tile holds one letter. PLATO is five tiles.
Every guess is answered colour by colour: green where a tile is exactly right, gold where the tile belongs in the word but not in that place, and grey where it does not belong at all. Six guesses, one word a day, and the same word for everyone playing in Spanish that day — it is generated from the date, not fetched from a server, so it is the same on every device and it works with no connection.
What is different about Spanish
Two Spanish-specific rules. Ñ is its own key and its own letter — it is not N with a mark on it, and treating it as one would make half the answers unguessable. Accents are normalised: typing cafe matches CAFÉ, because the puzzle is about the word, not about whether your keyboard has an acute accent on it. CH and LL are two letters each, following the RAE.
The keyboard and the word list
The keyboard is the standard Spanish layout, with Ñ where it belongs, and it colours itself as you learn which letters are out.
The Spanish list is five letters throughout, drawn from established public frequency lists and checked by hand. Five letters — the Spanish list has one size.

The day's word is the start. No account, nothing collected
There is no sign-up. Your streak, statistics and settings live in your own browser or phone and are never sent anywhere; the privacy policy sets out exactly what is and is not counted. Padamz installs to a home screen and keeps working offline, and there is an Android app as well. Both are free.
