Dussehra archery gameTarget Ravan — one of 25 games in Padamz
Target Ravan is Dussehra night as an archery game. Ravan's heads stand on poles in front of the giant effigy; every one you knock down brings the burning closer. Get all ten and the effigy goes up in flames with fireworks over it.

Touch anywhere and pull back, away from Ravan, like drawing a bow. A dotted line shows exactly where the arrow will fly and a green ring appears when it will hit a head; let go to shoot. Arrows arc, so the far, high heads need elevation rather than force.
Hit a low head and every head it holds up falls with it, for a chain bonus. From level six the stands move, wind pushes the arrow, and some heads carry a shield that stops a flat shot, so you drop the arrow in from above instead. Later levels shorten the aim line until you are reading the arc yourself.
Three things that help
- Aim for the bottom of a stack. One hit there is worth several up top.
- Against a shield, shoot higher and softer so the arrow is falling when it arrives.
- Watch the wind arrows before you pull. Strong wind can move a shot a whole head width.

Where it sits in Padamz
Padamz is ten word games in one place, free and with no account. The spine is a daily word puzzle in twelve languages — Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, English, Spanish and Dutch — with one hidden word a day and six tries at it. Target Ravan is one of the nine games around it, and none of them are locked: you can play any of them the moment you arrive. There is an Android app and an iPhone app as well, and everything keeps working offline once it has loaded.
Opened from inside Padamz, every round counts on Target Ravan's weekly leaderboard: pick an avatar once and compete with players everywhere — the board resets each Monday, and last week's top three wear a crown.
