Block puzzle gameBlock Blast — one of 25 games in Padamz
The block puzzle everyone knows, with one change that matters: you can rotate the pieces. Fill a whole row or column and it clears; clear several at once for a combo.

Three pieces wait in the tray. Drag one onto the board; a shadow shows where it will land and the lines it would clear light up before you let go. Tap a piece to turn it a quarter. A gold badge marks a piece that only fits after turning.
Each level has a goal (clear lines, collect festival tokens, break the stones, or reach a score) and a move budget. The pieces you are dealt always fit somewhere when they arrive, so the game ends on a choice you made, not on bad luck.
Three things that help
- Place the awkward piece first. The single square can go anywhere later.
- Keep one row and one column nearly full. Two lines at once double the points and keep the combo going.
- Stones only leave when their line clears, so build toward them, not away.
Questions
Can I rotate the blocks?
Yes. Tap a piece in the tray to turn it. Plenty of block puzzles do not allow that, and it changes how you plan.
Is there a daily puzzle?
Yes. The daily board deals the same pieces to everyone that day, so you can compare scores.
Is it free?
Yes, free with no account, in the browser and in the Padamz app.
Where it sits in Padamz
Padamz is ten word games in one place, free and with no account. The spine is a daily word puzzle in twelve languages — Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, English, Spanish and Dutch — with one hidden word a day and six tries at it. Block Blast is one of the nine games around it, and none of them are locked: you can play any of them the moment you arrive. There is an Android app and an iPhone app as well, and everything keeps working offline once it has loaded.
Opened from inside Padamz, every round counts on Block Blast's weekly leaderboard: pick an avatar once and compete with players everywhere — the board resets each Monday, and last week's top three wear a crown.
