Endless runner gameRoad Rush — one of 25 games in Padamz
A caped boy or girl runs down a festival road towards the haunted house or the Ravan effigy. Three lanes, one free in every row of obstacles, and the road keeps getting faster.
Play Road Rush →How Road Rush works
Swipe left or right, or tap that side of the screen, to change lane. Swipe up to jump; on a keyboard use the arrow keys and the up arrow or space. Low things (spiders, pumpkins, drums, stumps) clear with any jump. Tall ones (ghosts, crates) only clear near the top of a jump, so time it or change lane.
Collect candies, coins and diyas for stars. A magnet pulls them in, a shield saves one hit. Reach the finish with a heart left to clear a stage. Every row leaves a lane you can reach in time, and that is checked over thousands of rows.
Three things that help
- Jump early for tall obstacles. The top of the jump has to be over them.
- Look two rows ahead. The free lane moves at most one lane at a time.
- Save the shield for the fast stretch near the finish.

Where it sits in Padamz
Padamz is ten word games in one place, free and with no account. The spine is a daily word puzzle in twelve languages — Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, English, Spanish and Dutch — with one hidden word a day and six tries at it. Road Rush is one of the nine games around it, and none of them are locked: you can play any of them the moment you arrive. There is an Android app and an iPhone app as well, and everything keeps working offline once it has loaded.
Opened from inside Padamz, every round counts on Road Rush's weekly leaderboard: pick an avatar once and compete with players everywhere — the board resets each Monday, and last week's top three wear a crown.
